About Us
The Alliance seeks to address plastic-based planetary degradation with the urgency it demands.
We do this through information dissemination and exchange as well as in offering support to companies taking into account ecological considerations in the management of their product design, manufacture and marketing.
Our vision is a world in which low impact manufacturing and consumption behaviors are so completely embedded in personal and organizational reflexes that the need for a specific vocabulary for them disappears.
We also recommend producers of eco-sensible personal care products for specific product categories.
Member Companies agree to adhere to our Charter in the conduct of their businesses.
The Alliance is an informational crossroads for plastics manufacturers, materials scientists, process engineers and consumers wishing to access personal care products with an environmental pedigree.
Capable Employees
Many organizations and public entities are attempting to tackle key sustainability challenges. The Alliance supports training enabling employees to address budgetary and eco-systemic challenges in parallel, using process analysis, project management and impact reporting.
Aware Consumers
While a single vote rarely determines an election outcome, every action taken to reduce the impact of plastic deploys its effects. The ecosystem is in dire need of large numbers of consumers who by their actions “vote” for climate conservation; every one of them exerts an impact on the result. We seek to increase their numbers by informing consumers about the environmental impact of their choices.
Agile, Aware Organizations
Circular Value Networks and Sustainable and Resilient Supply Chains: when properly implemented, they permit creation of solutions that are market – based, impactful and trusted by stakeholders. The Alliance fosters development and propagation of these and other management methods positing profitability as but one factor in an array of considerations informing executive decisions. Our purpose is to ensure that profitability and impact reduction best practices are not viewed as mutually exclusive, but instead complementary. In so doing we contribute to the advent of a Net Zero economy.
