Everyone understands the importance of not only prolonging human lifespans, but our health spans as well. Prolonging the planet’s health span is of existential importance for the billions of persons whose survival and quality of life depend on it.

We have only one body, and just one planet. We have to take care of both, and the ecological task is immense. We currently throw away 30 million tons of plastic annually, and it is estimated that in 2050 there will be more plastic in the oceans than fish.
